Project 1 Description
Water resistant headphones designed specifically for surfers so there is little water or sand stuck inside the headphones. The organic shape fits inside the user's ear quite snug which helps the user's ears remain as clean and dry as possible after a long day at the beach. Designed to be secured and clamped onto a wetsuit or swimsuit, if the earbuds do fall off from more intensive activity. These come in a bright and shiny material so it is easily recognizable if it is lost in the ocean.
Project 2 Description
1/2 Senior Capstone:
This is a redesign of the etsy brand EKBareBeauty, a small makeup brand that focuses on making clean, ethical, vegan, and sustainable cosmetics. Since EKBareBeauty utilizes very generic packaging for its products, I decided to reinvigorate the brand's language. This brand revamping included it's products and packaging. I would research and utilize sustainable materials, in order to visualize the brand’s future in a much more aesthetically pleasing way while still honoring the company's morals and brand values.
Project 3 Description
2/2 Senior Capstone:
Close ups of the shimmer and matte eyeshadows and their case, the lip tints, and showcasing how the packaging would work. The materials used for most of the products were molded bamboo powder, cork, glass, and molded recycled cardboard and paper.
With COVID-19, I was not able to finish this project the way I had desired. However, I was still able to showcase through a strongly designed product line how reliable and trustworthy, "clean" sustainable products can and should be within the context of the makeup industry

Tamara is a recent Industrial and Innovative Design graduate from Cedarville University.
She has a passion for sustainability in design. She believes that with design there should be a focus on how products are manufactured and what their "true cost" is for the ones making and manufacturing them, especially in third world countries.
Tamara loves the ocean, playing guitar, listening to music, and is currently learning to animate using blender. She is also learning to sew her own clothes as an effort to aid in the decreasing her habits of buying fast fashion.
Wow she is so sustainable huh :)
