Project 1 Description
Nike Outline is a modular basketball shoe kit that does not contain any adhesives so it is easily recyclable and sustainable. Designed to target the casual/recreational player that is conscious of the quantity of shoes they are purchasing. With Nike Outline, all the user needs to do is pick what grip (outsole), cushion (midsole), and support (insole and upper) the basketball court demands for that day. And all the different parts nest within each other so there are no adhesives or complicated locking mechanisms.

Project 2 Description
Aurora is a sleep system that consists of sleepwear, bedding, mattress, and pillows. This concept project was focused on enhancing a user experience while shifting the paradigm about a product. It includes emerging technology that is within the next 5-10 years. The system as a whole monitors the user's sleep while also adjusting to create the most optimal sleep environment. Restless nights will no longer be a thing and quality sleep will become the norm. The app that the user interacts with to manage their settings and see their sleep statistics. It was developed afterwards as a secondary phase.

Project 3 Description
In collaboration with LDA in Irvine, the Sensor Mirror Trio Vanity is a beauty products station that is the main focal point of a makeup area. The prompt was to expand Simplehuman's current mirror product line with a new product. The emphasis on this project was to understand branding and how a product fits into the existing ecosystem the company has. This vanity is an elegant way of hiding or displaying the user's makeup while still being easily cleaned and maintained.

Bio
Elizabeth Huang is a recent graduate from the Industrial Design program at Cal State University, Long Beach and based in Orange County, California. As a designer she loves experiencing new things to better understand how she can better help others. When she's placed in new and unfamiliar situations she's quick to adapt and eager to collaborate with others. Her strengths are the research portion of any project, the final aesthetics, and graphic design aspects. She is interested in going into the softgoods field possibly pertaining to footwear. When she's not designing she's discovering new foods, playing basketball and being active.
